I like to play with bread and 98% of the time add other goodies to it because I think it's fun - and also delicious. If I want to add sweetness to it, I use local Montana honey or molasses. I often use spent beer grains from Bonsai Brewing Project because they add texture and flavor. And vegetables! Sometimes I add roasted red onion or poblano peppers, shredded carrot, or pureed squash or sweet potato. Sprouted grains like spelt, rye, kamut, or wheat berries are also frequently in the line-up.
